The D300 Food Pantry provides food assistance to families of School District 300 whether you need help for the short term, long term or on an emergency basis. Our only eligibility requirement is that you live within School District 300 boundaries and that you have at least one child within your household age 18 or younger. You may be asked to provide proof of address.
Regardless of where you live, we also extend our services to School District 300 employees, as well as Durham and OrganicLife employees that work for D300 schools, and students of Elgin Community College.
If you have any questions about eligibility, please contact our Registrar at registration@d300foodpantry.org.
If this is your first visit to the site, or you have not registered with our pantry yet, you will need to register online. You’ll be assigned a pantry number which will be emailed to you. Then you will be able to start attending weekly shopping nights on Wednesday or Thursday night.
To learn more about registering go to our Register For Help page.
Already registered and have a pantry number? You are ready to shop – go to Food Assistance page and schedule your next appointment (appointment registration for shopping opens on the prior Friday).
